Clutch Pedal Adjustment

Hi everyone im new to this forum iv got an 02 plate corolla t sport. i was just wondering if there is any way to adjust the clutch petal? cheers lewis

get under the pedals undo the plastic trim 2 screws and pop it off, youll see one and one will be more near the centre trim side. Remove screws, and you will see a bolt with a nut on the clutch pedal undo the nut push the clutch pedal down and twist until desired. Please note if you set it really low it will leave your clutch engaged you should only really adjust it low enough to get rid of a lot of free play.

can you give a bit more detail on this please? I need to lower my clutch slightly, the bite point is silly high!

been meaning to do this for months just havent bothered myself yet!

If anyone else has advice on this please chip in!

mine bites really high there is another nut on the push rod if you look underneath but its a mission to undo. You will have to bleed the clutch again once done but i couldnt get my one undone.

Check the condition of the clutch fluid first - tends to get over-looked - change/bleed as neccasary.

Then do the following checks :

Ensure the locknuts are tightened when the adjustments are done.
