Tein Super Street

Hi everyone,

Is anyone running with TEIN Super Street coilover kit?? I have this kit & it's a good set up, but after 3-4 years i have had a spring snap on the rear & that was last year, now the other side has snapped too. I have about a 70mm ish drop. Just wondered if anybody else has had coilover springs snap on them. It seems that the powder coat breaks down then salt & all the other crap on the road+++ pot holes makes then snap. Last years snappped @ the bottom. this years @ the top. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I've heard of the tein shocks bursting/leaking due to the roads, not the springs snapping though.

Although Tein do sell covers for their springs (think it's to help noise rather than corrosion though).

Guy who fit my BCs wont fit Tein says he's had to many problems with them, won't sand up to UK roads, I've never run them so can't comment.
