Side Mirror Components

hi

some idiot smashed my side mirror, breaking the glass. i know how to replace, assemble and fit it fine however i need to replace a small plastic screw thats part of the adjustment system...I'd appreciate it if someone would tell me what that type of screw is called and where to get some (other than scrapyard, its hardly worth going for one plastic screw!)

the screw i mean is like rawlplug with thread round the outside, a little metal connector on the inside and a ball on the end.

the ball fits into the the back of the mirror itself, the plug end goes into a hole in the mirror motor assembly. every electric mirror has them (one for up/down and one for left/right) but i just cant work out what they are called or where to buy them (preferably online). help! i dont want to buy a whole new side mirro assembly because of one bit of plastic.....

I'm afraid its the sort of thing you need, but I doubt you can buy one, I think going to a scrappy will be the quickest bet

The only mirror bits you can buy from Toyota is a glass or complete mirror

Kingo
