I've noitced an issue with the revs when the engines cold.. when i start my car from cold i.e in the mornings etc and i rev the car, lets say to about 3rpm MAX.. when i let go of the accelerator the car de-accelerates and the rpms get stuck at 2rpm for about 1 to 2 seconds, like the throttles getting stuck open.. when the cars up to temp and i do this the rpms will drop as they should?..

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be..

Help much appreciated thanks!

pop your bonnet and check you butterfly is able to flex freely.. if it isnt "free" theres your problem! wd40 should cure the problem in the in the short term

the revs only hold at 2rpm when the engines cold but still drives fine n no lights same goes for a hot engine
