Service In Gloucestershire

I've just had my 05 Avensis for a year now and it has previously been to main dealers in Gloucester for all its service history from the previous owners.

Now the Toyota main dealer in Gloucester has closed down so I've been quoted:

50000/5 year Service (Interim Service):

Listers Cheltenham - £180

ToyotaWorld Bristol North - £200

Is this about right for an interim?

Any other recommendations for a place to service the car.

Aint too bothered about it being main dealer but still want an official garage stamp in the book.

Thanks

Hello, try this web site http://www.goodgarage.biz/index.php?page=good_garage_garages

I've not used it myself but i think you can do a search from your postcode.

Hi

If you want a Toyota dealer stamp in your service book there is now a new dealer in Hereford - Westlands - who are located in the old Brooklyn site just south of the city on the Ross Road. Had my car serviced there last year (when it was still Brooklyn) and was very pleased with them. So if Westlands took over the staff, as well as the premises, then it might be worth giving them a call.

There is also, I think, a Toyota 'specialist', as opposed to 'dealer', at Withington, just east of Hereford. Think they're called HTC, which used to be Hereford Toyota Centre until they lost the frachise.

My car will be going to Listers in Cheltenham in a few weeks, as, luckily for me, they've promised to honour the prepaid service plan that I had with Brooklyn.

Good luck.

Hi,

I would try members of the Good Garage Scheme. In my experience I have found the members, that I have used, are all good trustworthy mechanics.
