Yaris Diesel

Hi, I'm new here, I'm looking at a 4 ish year old Yaris Diesel for a delivery vehicle for work and wondered if it would take the mileage as we do about 30k per year all around town. Would the engine and box be good for 120+k without too much trouble and how would the rest of the car stand up to the abuse? It would be serviced and maintained to the highest standards.

Generally how reliable are they?

Thanks,

Bill

If you look on Autotrader you should find a few with >100k miles.

I have an 04 one and it has been very reliable in the year that i have owned it. Just don't mis shift or the torque will vapourise the gearbox! The gearbox oil level was low when i got it and i topped it up. No problems yet. Touch wood.

I have recently cleared the 100k mark and i get 800 miles to the tank. I do try hard to get that though. Normal driving will get around the 700 mile mark. Still extremely good no?!!

Just buy the car and enjoy cheap motoring!
