Testing Micro Camera

I recently ordered three car keyfob micro cameras from HK. £9.50 each delivered. Some of the guys on my other forum had been getting good results so thought I'd try one.

Stuck a couple on the RAV yesterday, one in the front grill and one on the rear. Set off to the farm where my son works for a short run. here are the results.

Can't believe the video and audio quality from them.

That's fantastic for the price. Would love to see the results of one of those fitted to the front of Bothy's Drag Rav

VERY impressive!

a few questions if you don't mind:

is there any way of starting (and stopping? ) the cameras from inside the car? I notice the mini USB connector, is that just for Battery charging or could you connect a remote control?

Have you a URL for the place where you bought them?

How much storage ( minutes of video ) is there?

How weatherproof are the units? Despite the mud and water on the farm track you managed not to get any on the camera.

How / where did you mount them?

Many thanks

No remote. USB is for charging and downloading.

From here

Yuo can use up to 32Gb Mirco SD cards. Works out at about 3 GBs per hour. Full charged Battery via USD/computer is 1 hour.

Limited weatherproofing.

I mount them anywhere. Just use velcro. Great on the front splitter on my Celica and in the grill of the RAV.

Many thanks
