19Th June 2010 - London/a40/m25 Motorbike Demo

I normally post in the Aygo area but thought it best to warn about this more widely.

I don't know how many people have been following the fight between motorcyclists and Westminster Council over the last 18 months but, we are taking them to court on the 24th and have a mass ride out demo happening this Saturday (19th June).

The Demo will be starting at the Ace Cafe at around noon and then heading up the A40/M40 to the M25, from there we will be doing a full clockwise lap of the M25 at about 40-50mph. Once we get back to the M40 we will be heading back to the Ace Cafe. From there we will be meeting up with the L-plate riders and then heading en masse into Westminster.

The number of riders is currently unknown but last year we managed to get 4000+ riders on a weeknight to all hit Westminster City Hall at once, and this could be a lot bigger.

So the advice for Saturday the 19th is from noon until 5pm avoid the M25 if you are in a rush and after 5pm avoid Westminster.
