Overview Dvd Not Working

Title says it all, really. Just got the car from the dealer today. The DVD that came with the manual says PAL on the front so I figured it would be OK. Refused to work on my PC. Refused to work on TWO different DVD players. Refused to work on my laptop - in fact, it made awful grinding noises when spinning up, as if it was out of balance!

Any suggestions?

Other than hot foot it back to the dealer and kick up a fuss?

Can't see the point in hot footing it back and kicking up a fuss, how about just asking for another copy?

Sounds like a faulty DVD. Mine works ok in PC and DVD player. Mention it to the dealer and they will get you another one. No fuss needed.

Mine didn't work either. Didn't bother asking for a replacement - I believe most of the content is available on Youtube.

Taking it back to the dealer today, they've suggested they will just swap it for me.

Quite right! I called by today and got a replacement - this one works OK.

Excellent! So is it worth it? I haven't even tried my one yet, still catching up with coronation street :toast: Not really honestly

Mine was making some strange noises and worked except for the last section. When I looked at it the DVD was bent where it had been stored in the leather folder.
