Bluetooth Streaming

Hi all,

anyone have the bluetooth handsfree kit for the yaris, and if so could anyone point me in the right direction when it comes to pairing yo stream music?

The phone has paired as a phone and I have no problems making calls, it's a htc android phone if its any help.

Maybe you have to unpair it as a phone, and then pair it as a music source?

Seems to be a common problem with bluetooth / motorbike intercoms that you can talk to each other / hear a gps directions or listen to a music source, but not all at the same time.

I can stream music and take phone calls through bluetooth on my htc desire, in an auris though

on your phone go to Settings > wireless and networks > bluetooth settings and under "bluetooth devices" select and hold "toyota" and then a sub menu pops up, select "options"

Under "profiles" make sure phone and media tick boxes are selected.

You don't need to be connected to the bluetooth system to do this

Hi All,

I know this question was posted some time ago - I had a similar issue in my Toyota Auris and iPhone 3GS (iOS5).

I checked on Toyota's UK web site to first see if the phone was compatible, the only thing it can't do is transfer address book data.

To fix audio streaming from iPhone, in the bluetooth settings for the phone and portable audio on the NAV system make sure the passcode for pairing is the same. In my situation the phone was set to 1212 and audio was 0000. I changed the phone setting to 0000 and everything started to work.
