yesterday,on the corolla forum there were posts dicussing understeer and oversteer,another member posted that they had no idea what they were.

so for the benifit of others in the same position and do not read the corolla forum posts,i shall repeat my explanations that i posted.

UNDERSTEER IS

when you hit a tree going foreward.

OVERSTEER IS

when you hit a tree going backwards.

B.H.P IS

how fast your going when you hit the tree.

TORQUE IS

how far you can take the tree after hitting it.

i am sure these simple explanatons will help those who did not understand the termsand and did not like to ask,to be able now to dicuss the subjects should they come up in a conversation with fellow motorists.

it may be beneficial to make this post a sticky so helping new members.
