2.0 And 2.2 Diesel Engines Still For Sale ?

Do Toyota UK still sell 2.0 and 2.2 Diesel engines in the Auris? If not when did they stop selling them?

Also, are both engines chain driven and is it only the 2.2 that has a DPF ?

looking at Toyota.co.uk the only diesel currently offered in the Auris is the 1.4 D4D.

The 2.0 and 2.2 Engines (along with the SR180) have now been discontinued, this was from 2010 onwards when the facelift model was released. Both the 2.0 and 2.2 are chain driven, and only the 2.2 has a DPF (as far as I am aware).

I cannot comment on the 1.4 Diesel which has replaced the other engines.

I'm running a 1.4 Urban Cruiser for a while and very suprised at how torquey that engine is, worth a road test before you write it off as being too small
