You beat me to it, I,ve just read this article on the BBC website.The trouble is that it not only affects the Japenese factories,but all the other world-wide production sites.I notice the Derby site as been cut to 2 day week,and many other car manufacturers albiet non Japanese are affected as well.Would recon it will last eassily into next year.

There is another interesting article on the BBC website about the lack of British manufacturing, that is compounding this situation,due to the UK goverments in the 70,s thru to the 90,s who totally killed it off!!!!

It's a great opportunity for the struggling UK engineering manufacturers that are left but the banks probaby wouldn't lend them the money needed to invest in the additional costs of developing the necessary production lines
