Aygo Audio Upgrade

Whatsup guys, it's Eric here!

I've got another "tricky"(haha) question for you..

I ordered a couple of Speakers and a sub, and im in need of some help.

Now, I myself am quite an engineer if i say so myself.

I bought:

- JBL GTO428 (4" 2way, 35 rms, 105 peak)

- Pioneer TS-E1702i (17cm 2way, 80 rms, 180 peak)

- JBL Basspro II (active sub, 400watt peak)+cableset

- Pioneer DEH6010MP (radio, mosfet 4x50watt, sw out, aux in, cd, etc)

Now is my question if all of these is installable in my toyota aygo....

I figured that they are with this new radio so i have an easy tulp sw output so that gets rid of the Sub problem.

The little 4" dashboard Speakers can replace the old dashboard Speakers cuz they are also 2way + 10cm(4inch)..

But the 17cm 2way speakers from pioneer is the "big" question... can the original speakers in the doorpanel be replaced by these??

Correct me if im wrong.

I want to thank you guys already for your help.

Regards,

Eric

"Engineer" ?

I would have thought you would have measured first.

I've looked online at pictures of the JBL GTO428.

Just from internet pictures, I would say these are too deep to fit an Aygo dashboard.

Also, for the 170mm Speakers, if you look under the grille, the original

rear speaker is much smaller. Again, looking on Google, I'm sure you will have depth issues.

I think if you're going to fit your purchased Speakers,

you're certainly going to be needing some engineering skills!

I think you'll be doing panel builds with MDF & Fibreglass.

Let us know how you get on.

owww damn, i forgot the depth measures.. goddamn:(

Well the inces and mm's are correct, i just called my local dealer..

But depth he didnt know ... this is bad.. hahahaha

Im going to let my dealer install it i guess... should cost some euro's but than it is fixed in a good way i suppose...

Thanks for your help!

AFAIK depth in the doors is 43mm max, no idea what you can put underneath the windshield...

under the windshield is pretty much endless all the way to the carpets. But the diameter gets a little smaller. So depth is fine.

Have a look yourself, take the old Speakers out and have a look :)
