Hi there

Welcome back. Just from my point of view I've had my 2.2D 5dr nearly a year now and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Running round locally I get between 38 to 40mpg keep a check using fuelly.com. Had it serviced once for the warranty cost approx £300. Reason I have the 5dr is space I had an Avensis 1.8 vvti petrol for 8 years and it was giving me a lot of issues mechanically which is why I needed to change. Never had a diesel before but it's never let me down even through the bad weather we had last winter. I have the TR model which came with a few toys sat nav etc I don't mean this to sound like a Disney moment but I don't think you'll go wrong with the Avensis
