Help! Clutch Master/slave Cylinder

While queuing for petrol at my local tescos, all of a sudden my clutch pedal when all spongey, and stiff when full depressed, can I assume this is the master cylinder? After a tricky drive home(by this time I could bearly engage a gear) I did a bit of research and can't find much info on the aygos master/slave cylinder, and after nosing about under the car I can't find it, is replacement of this a DIY job? Can it be blead? Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Andy.

The Aygo has a cable-operated clutch, so there are no cylinders to bleed.

Tha cable may have frayed, or a bracket could have bent. If you're not

comfortable with, or knowledgable on this matter, go to a garage...
