When weather is cold(winter days) or in rainy days (especially days with big humidity),airbag signal lamp is not turning off after start the engine. This is not happen in high temperatures (summer days).I guess that somewhere is bad contact between wires because of humidity. Can I resolve this by applying contact spray, but don't know where.By the way car is Yaris 1.3 2001.

Regards.

Hi is worth trying the connectors for the front seat airbags.

It can be a common problem due to the amount of movement the seats get, just unplug the connectors under the seats and reconnect them.

The problem lies in the joining of the copex cable protector to the plug, it needs to be pushed into the plug a bit more. Easy to do just need to unclip the plug from the copex (yellow clip, may have tape around it) push the copex in abit more and reclip the plug.

Hope this helps

Agree with the above, I would advise remaking the connections even if they look OK, but remember to disconnect the Battery first and wait ten minutes before starting work. Make sure you have the radio code if you need it! Also look at the connectors forn the crash sensors at the front of the car small yellow boxes on the inner wings under the inner edges of the headlights.

Regards Geoff Peace.
