the whole process just took 2 and half hours.

really wanted to post this at the teoc site but it is limited to members only. T_T .

procedure:

* check the ATF at the dip stick below the driver seat (coverted to LHD/Philippines) passenger seat (UK or Orig)

* if the AFT is not cherry red and somehow have a bad smell.. you need to replace this however its not imperative that you do it right away.. but needs attention for replacing the ATF in the near future..

* purchased 4liters Thai made oil (170pesos/liter) as per my cousin who's a mechanic who specialize in AT ..but purchase 7 liters, lol, because of what I read from a thread from another forum.

* when below lucy (lucida's name), checked the drain plug.. took 15mins til the last drop..

* check the bolts of the sump cover.. lots of bolts as you can see at the picture above.

... use rubber gloves and goggles as possible for you will be under the bus

* mark all the bolts and place it in one specific container. I used the sump cover. ^_^

* took pictures of the revealing parts shown at the pictures.

* remove the bolts holding the metal hoses.

* check all the bolts again for they have their own slots specially the filter.

all part should be off the body already.

1. metal hoses

2. strainer/filter

3.bolts

*clean them with kerosene.

* have the part back again with all the bolts..

- strainer/filter first

- metal hoses

- bolts (should not be limited or excess..lol)

* pour ATF at the nozzle.. you need to have a funnel but was not able to anticipate this but was able to find a way..

* clear as a cherry flavors drink, poured one at a time.

- hope this will be of help. enjoy.

- thanks for looking. _ zecand.

if you are from QC,Philippines.. I could do this for you.. but with pay.. hehehe..

not need 12 liters of ATF. just 4 liters. ^_^
