Hi im totally stumped i did a silly thing last night and left my key in the ignition overnight now i cannot start it ,i have read and tried various solutions but i could do with getting the right one to sort this out.Im thinking its related to the immobiliser in some way i have 1.8 (57) auto avensis any help appreciated

Have you tried leaving the key in the ignition on position (ign lights on) for 30 mins?

I am guessing your Battery has at least 12.2volts?
