Problems After K&n Install

I recently purchased and installed a K&N performance kit and now I am experiencing problems. it worked great for the first week, but after that, the check engine light came on and I have lost considerable power. I have written K&N's tech dept. with no answer. Anybody else ever run into this? Any suggestions? TIA

Well, as it turns out, it has nothing to do with the K&N, just a coincidence that the 02 sensor went at about the same time...might have hurried the process along, but the truck has 77K miles on it. I went by Discount Auto Parts and they checked the computer for me (free of charge I might add) and it was showing the error with the sesor. Anyway....as you were...
