Avensis 1.8Vvti 2004 New Back Box

Hello All,

I am currently needing to change my Avensis back box due to rattling baffles. I have really bad experinces of fitting cheap replacements in the past and have therefore decided to get a custom box made.

My car is lowered on-35mm genuine toyota springs and has T-spirt 17" wheels so I think it looks well. I have two questions,

  1. What tailpipe design should I go for, was thinking twin exit single back box.
  2. What are Exhausts UK in Sheffiled like (anyone had experience) as I have booked in there for the box to be made.

Exhausts UK say they can tailor the noise. So im going to tell them to make it as standard as possible.

I'll let you guys know my feedback.

Its quite an involved job. Mine is on TTE springs from the Toyota main dealer. I am fairly competent with spanners and it still took me best part of 6 hours to do the job properly. The rear suspension is independent so it takes longer than the front as you have to strip all the trim from the boot to get access to the locating nuts. If your not sure its definitely a job for the professionals as its safety related.

Fogs are yellow and its lamin-x film. Was wandering about removing it myself. It just peels off.

Yours looks well...want those wheels for mine..
