Sadly the cam belt went yesterday and my beloved RAV is going to cost £4500 for an engine rebuild.

So it's curtains for it sadly. It is in great shape inside and out, new clutch with warranty recently too. Everything apart from that cam belt working perfectly, even the A/C..So if anyone is inclined to take it off me for more than the scrap-man in the next 36 hours or so I'd be happier.

It's currently outside the garage in Woodley near Reading

What caused the belt to go? was it the water pump or just a old belt?

Just an old belt. I'd stupidly never replaced it in the 3+ years I've owned it
