I am unable to enter our 1997 Colorado 3.0 GX without the alarm sounding and hazards flashing for 30 seconds. Can this be deactivated or a fuse pulled to switch off the system completely.

I have tried all possible sequences of using the ignition key in the barrel to switch on and off, and the drivers door lock and unlocking before entry to no success?

The immobiliser works fine and the car starts perfectly, any help on this will be greatly appreciated. I do not have a programmed remote fob as the ECU has lost the settings it appears.
