Avensis 53 2l D4d Problem

I have a 53 plate avensis 2L d4d with 180K on the clock.

Wondered if anyone can help me with an intermittent problem i get.

It happens when I turn (usually at roundabouts) and shift into a lower gear, it seems there is some grinding/mechanical action taking place under the car, possibly around where the driver sits. Its not gears grinding and is most similar to when the traction control comes on. It doesnt happen everytime and only at higher speeds. I dont notice any traction indicator on dash - which is working.

Also does anyone know what/where the clutch slave pipe is - and whether it is a simple job to replace
