The guy I am seeing tomorrow has two kittens left - a ginger male and a tabby female.

I havent a clue which one to choose - please help!

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to having a boy or a girl.

I think I would like them both, but I can't at the moment.

So, please help me choose! :help:

Ta muchly!

Go and meet them both and choose your favourite. (or the one who takes more interest in you.) Don't worry about the boy/girl stuff, just pick a friendly cat. It's hard to just choose one though, whenever I'm at the cat rescue place I always want to bring 10 of them back with me.

Nooo because I'll be gutted!

I want to take them both, but can only have one....

The thing is - when i go and see them - I'll fall in love with both - I just know it! Thats why I need someone tough and 'ard to make the decision for me! :D

lol its expensive enough getting all the stuff for one - not to mention any vaccinations and getting their bits chopped off!

I dont think we can afford to get that done twice!

And thats exactly what 'im indoors will tell me! :D

I am currently trying to find a good quality but not expensive scratch post and a carry cage....

Can anyone tell me which of these would cater for a kitten/cat.... http://www.petplanet.co.uk/category.asp?de...020MHUF0D500439 - am looking at the Marchioro Clipper Tonga range but I dunno which one I need (they are all different sizes!

is there one for Puppies?

Puppies are same sizes as full grown cats?

Or go to a pet shop and have a look and see which sizes could fit a cat in...

thats what happened with ours!

we went to buy one of the two and they were both playing, jumping around and generally best buds

anyway one was chosen and was retrieved from the other and put in the carry basket

then they sat and looked at each other through the door of the basket and you could almost see the kitty tears (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :( )

couldnt bare to separate them so the other was let in and they both came home!

So, Angel, is the plan to decide which one to get BEFORE you see them and notify the current owner to keep the poll loser out of sight when you pick up the winner?

It's that or feel a bit crappy for a day or two.

Well we have a male and a female, to be honest they're both little gits ;)

But the female one whinges loads and the male just sits quietly and ignores her, that sounds like a line from a book about relationships :ph34r:

You's lot are NO help! :D

Your just making me feel guilty that I'll have to leave one behind - and then I'll think "Did I pick the right one... yada yada yada blah blah blah" especially when the one I choose turns into Satans kitty scratching and clawing!

Jaxx - no you are not helping either! I really cant take them both, I wish I could, cause then I wouldnt be bothering you guys about it! :D

Boro-Sera - The Plan is for me to choose without having to choose, so if my cat does turn out to be the spurn of Satan I am blameless!

I didnt think there was much difference love and attention wise between boys and girls - tbh I have only ever had boy cats (had a ginger male before and he was a bit iffy, not as affectionate as our black male we had after!)

I went out and bought stacks of toys for the kitty today - and good quality brand cat litter - dont want it complaining I'm not giving it the best!
