Avalon Road Noise

I have a 98 Camry and Avalon and the Camry is decidedly quieter than the Avalon. Both cars have about 90,000 miles. Struts and shocks have been replaced on Avalon because of this noise, thinking it might be the problem.

Michelin tires on both, but different model tires.

Could new tires make a difference in noise? Also the Camry seems more stable and less swaying than the Avalon and I wondered if tires could play a role in this as well. It's time to replace the tires and I wondered what someone would recommend for the Avalon.
