Yaris 2010 - engine stops

Hi

Have a nice Yaris 2010, recently fixed a lot and installed a new Battery.
Both before and after service, the engine stops almost immediately if I push the heating wires too the rear window or when I use the cigarette lighter / electric outlet. This happens even if everything else is off ...no lights, no fan, etc.
Anyone have an idea of what makes the engine stop ?? Starts fine afterwards. When driving, it stays on a little longer, before it dies ...

Sounds like the the high current demand of the rear window demist or cigarette lighter are causing a low power issue and the car stalls as the Engine ECU is not functioning correctly, are there any warning lights on & was the Battery replaced? as it may be a faulty alternator not capable of supplying sufficient voltage to charge a Battery and support the cars electrical requirements

What action causes it to 'cut out' whilst driving the car?

No warning llights . The Battery is replaced...the idle speeds just drops after 2-3 sec and engine stops...

Also; were do I look to find the problem?? Or how to eliminate ecu/alternator/??

The same as above...if I push the heating wires too the rear window or when I use the cigarette lighter / electric outlet. When I was driving and it happend, was when I charged my iPhone ( at the time I didn`t know excactly why the car stopped, I`d just been informed by my wife that it had happend to her). Fgured it out after som testing...that it only happend when I use the cigarette lighter / electric outlet or heating wires too the rear window.

In my experience it takes 5-10 min when using 12V/charging iPhone before engines stops...

Okay, was any electrical work carried out in your "fixes" and was it a brand new Battery that you had replaced? How long have you had the car also what mileage? Thanks in advance.

Check the fuses on the fusible link (Battery terminal) - also undo the bolt that holds the wires/terminal and reseat them, do the same with the plugs

No, just brakes+++, no electrical work. And it also started before I fixed the brakes+++. Brand new Battery yes. The car was imported form Germany to Norway in 2010. I`ve had it for 7-8years...from 20 000km to 107000km. ( 12.427 mile to 66.487 mile google told me...)
