T180 corolla verso judder / stuttering around 1800 - 2500rpm.

So my T180 is starting to stutter almost judder in all gears at around 1800rpm lasts till about 2500 if you accelreate slowly. If you floor it it's fine, 2006 113000 miles, had it about 1 month. Bit of extra info i was getting the engine light come on P2002 error, I cleaned the EGR as it was bad, error went for a bit then came back every day after resetting it, but recently it hasn't returned for 1 week, so guessing its the DPF that needs clean / regen, I do 130 miles of motorway journeys a day but I think the previous owner was start stop. Also just had to replace the starter motor as it was burnt out.

Question is I see people say injectors faulty or DMF, both too expensive to even think about, does anyone think the DPF might be causing this or is it unrelated?
