Faulty DPF sensor?

Hi All. I have a Rav4 AWD 2014. The DPF lights came on and I drove it from Berlin to London with no regeneration. As lockdown happened it did now get used much so I had the DPF cleaned and regenerated. However the lights are still on and I have been told that the voltage in the sensor is faulty and to have it replaced. Is this something that often happens and is it easy to replace the sensor.
thanks

Jacinta
