sam white 0
Hi All, I'm assuming this question is an old one but can't see it on the forum...I find that attaching my phone via bluetooth to the infotainment system is very sporadic and the system keeps kicking my phone off, or it's very difficult to pair them up. I read 'somewhere' on the tinternet that the whole system needs an update. Which makes sense. I've contacted my local Toyota specialist a couple of times asking if they can do this, but to no avail. Do any other members have any solutions? Many thanks! Sam
flash22 656
What radio do you have ?? If it's the touch/touch2 go into Setup - General - System information there you will find the Device ID and the Software version

sam white 0
So I did that and it says: dumUA @mio 94ly qGx1 j9Yog 7721 Software version 2.7.4L Shall I try another garage and tell them that?! Any idea how much it costs to get an update on the firmware?
flash22 656
So you have sat Nav what is the Map ID ?
sam white 0
I just went into the navigation, and it just spins on the screen saying 'connecting' but it never does. I was going to look at the Map ID as you suggest that way, but that seems impossible (as presumably it's so out of date?)
flash22 656
The map id is below the software version unless your car has the earlier sat nav, can you post a pic of your Radio
sam white 0
Well I tried to upload the photo to the forum, but it just says it fails to upload because of unknown error 200. Oh well. A problem on a problem. But the map ID has just a colon : after it and no ID if that helps?
sam white 0
Well I booked it in to a local garage, so hopefully they'll be able to help, thanks anyway for your input.
flash22 656
if its the earlier sat nav it more that likely missing the disc - a new map disk will contain the updates
