240v conversion

Has anyone converted from 100v to 240v?

There are inverters available that go from 12v to 240v and 100v to 240v, but is there a way to replace the 100v inverter so the whole mpv is 240v?

That 100v is only 500w or nearly 5 amps (but more like 2.5-3 amps in the real world)

For 240v you will need to change the socket to 3 pin type what of course is a lot larger and upgrade the wiring, if it's a hybrid the inverter (dc-ac) is run off the DC-DC convertor/traction Battery

 

the car runs on 12v so im not sure what you mean by you want the whole car to run 240V
