Thank you for the replies, I feel I'm getting close to the problem, in particular can anybody tell me where this hose should connect to, it comes from the Air Intake Manifold?

Throttle body cleaning helps most of the time and it’s a good idea as preventative maintenance every 40-60k miles. Here is the guy that shows how to do it. 👍

Idling problems are very often caused by vacuum leak, followed by idler sensors or dirty throtle body.
