Hi how would I insure a Toyota Noah 2008. Which insurance company will except the care at a reasonable rate. I'm really struggling to get insurance

Need to go through a specialist broker. Depends what you call a reasonable rate - will be dependent on your driving history, occupation, postcode, etc, etc.

Depends on a number of factors including whether or not you make or have previously made any claims. Have you got any No Claims Discount (NCD), which gives you a percentage discount off the annual premium. Are you a new driver?

Adrian Flux and Sky Insurance seem to be the 2 most popular insurers for modified cars and japanese imports. That's not the same as cheap however...!

Are you a new driver if you don't mind me asking? From what you wrote it sounds like you don't have any no claims bonus built up, which will make any car insurance an eye-watering ripoff...!

Hi I'm not a new driver I have another car with a no claims bonus. Thank you for your replies and time. I will try these companies again tomorrow. I think my post code might be a rip off.

Ah okay, then hopefully the insurance won't be as bad as I thought!

But yeah, we get shafted in London by insurance companies... apparently I live in a high crime area and my insurance was 4-5 times higher than what my brother paid when we had the same car!

Crime figures do add a lot to car insurance. Same with everything. Shop lifting costs the industry millions each year, but it’s the customer that pays for it. You hear of people faking injury (in all sorts of situations). Only one person pays for it and that’s other customers. Will all be sorted one day.
