TNS400 TomTom Help please?

Connected the TNS400 up yesterday. Set 6 different radio presets. But every couple of hours or so some of the presets duplicate.

Lets say Radio 1 is set to preset 1. A few hours later it will be on preset 1 and 2 ? So I have to keep saving my presets again and again.

Also if I connect my USB stick with over 1,000 songs on it to the unit it recognises all the music but when I click a song to play nothing happens

I know it's an old system but any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Take the TomTom out of the car and plug it into a pc via usb with TomTom home and see if it needs an update

these older systems do not like usb sticks bigger than 16gb as they can't index them correctly

Tried a 16GB, no luck.

I'll need to get a firewire cable and see if I can do a software update

Popped the SD card into my PC, it says no updates available

Yeah it is sorry for the confusion. 

Got the cable, it's now doing an update
