Black paint on rear lights

The previous owner of my IQ2 has spilt (or deliberately ) black paint all over both rear lights.

I have tried cellulose paint remover, T-cut, chrome cleaner, all to no avail.

Any suggestions please as to a proven product that will remove the paint (may not be cellulose

car paint)

Thanks.

Geoff.

As a last resort try a fine grade wet or dry sanding paper.

Any thinners will make the lights go brittle, best bet is to use a fine scotchbrite or a headlight restoration kit

eg. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autoglym-Headlight-Restoration-Complete-Kit/dp/B015OOVIRA

don't forget to mask up properly with low tack tape (3M blue)

Ideally you need to remove the lights, I will post the info if required

Try surgical spirts, it'll will remove the paint without damaging the plastic, it's great on pvc plastics to remove paint and marks too.

Tint spray is usually acrylic based, but it dries rock hard it can be a mare to remove
