iQ Multifunction Display Problem

The multi function display on my newly acquired 2009 iQ sometimes goes black, with no information showing, then comes back on again. Also the clock only appears to work when the engine is running and I’m not sure the fuel gauge is working. I filled the tank, have done 130miles but the gauge is still showing full. Do I need a new display unit?

If you shine a light at the display, can you see the information ?

it may be a case of un plugging the clocks and plugging them back in

Thanks, I will check that. Is it easy to remove the instrument panel if I need to get it checked?
