Toyota Prius 1.8 2014 front headlight balancer?

So I no longer have this car but my dad does. He says he needs a front headlight balancer. It's an imported 2014 car

I asked if he meant ballast instead? He said no. I can't see anything on eBay. Could anyone potentially help?

Hi,

because your Prius is imported it might have different lights set up than the uk official cars. Best to have a look here , find your exact model and look for the part in question, then Google it and you may find sellers from other countries like Asia, Russia or Japan. 👍

Thanks. Sadly they say "VIN code must contain 17 characters"  so they don't recognise it

Do you know of a UK equivalent part? I ask only because I find absolutely nothing when looking for a balancer, so I thought maybe that might help me look for others, and I could quote my VIN to those sellers. Well, not my VIN any more but my dad's

I think you can choose model by region ,

if you look here can you see what part do you need?

I'm guessing that means they're an "ASSY"?

So I asked my dad and he's said

"It's called balancer, not level control motor"

I'll PM you the VIN

You need to find out the actual issue/symptoms, has it failed an MOT ?

Looking up the frame number shows it's either

HID (it should have D3S or D4S on the headlight housing)

or

Led with a HB3 for high beam

Both types use a lighting control module - in the case of HID that would be a ballast mounted to the underside of the headlight
