Apps for Corolla

Hello everyone! When I press the sources button on my 72 plate Corolla Touring Sports there is an option: Apps, but it is grey. How can I download apps, where? I went to myToyota page and tried downloading apps from store but nothing worked. Any idea?

I think it is within your phone and not the car.  I have Android and select the Apps I want available when I select the phone as a source.

Even if i connect an android phone, it’s still grey, can’t use it.

Android Auto should automatically start when you connect the phone via a suitable USB cable.

It does and Apple CarPlay too, but I’m wondering what is this Apps option in Sources

How easy was to install the Brodit phone holder ? Worth the money ?

Have you selected any Apps on your phone under Android Auto or iPhone equivalent?

All the apps that works with the car will appear in Apple CarPlay or tell me which app to try

I have recently fitted the Brodit, very impressed with it and easy to install.

Don't know about the apps, but you made me check and discover there is a mirror cast with a phone which wokrs perfectly well.😀 I also ordered one of those phone holders. Great stuff
