Stuck fuel door

Hi just a quick one i hope someone can help my yaris 03 plate fuel door will not open when  i push the button under the drivers seat nothing happens. The only way to open the fuel door is to jam the lever in the up position with somehting then release the door with a screwdriver.  Any ideas on how ill fix this without being taken to the cleaners at a back street mechanic.

Cool thanks that looks like just the job. Now to source this spring thing from somewhere ill try eBay
