Yaris Cross jack location.

I’ve got one to fit tomorrow.  I can’t find by searching but somebody once showed a picture of one fitted.  Could I trouble someone to show it or someone new - just so I can work it out.

Presumably you don't carry a spare, so why carry a jack? Or is this for someone else's car?

Page 429 of the Owners Manual shows you how to change a tyre, if you have a space saver or spare wheel. The diagrams show where all the tools are stored.  The jack fits in a carrier, behind the large flap on the right hand side of the boot. It is secured by the rubber band/ clip arrangement.

 

I found the diagram very useful when installing my spare wheel kit.

Sorry for the late reply Don, my jack is not a toyota OEM one but came with the spacesaver spare I ordered from eBay, I simply wrapped it in bubblewrap and shoved it into the compartment provided for the jack, I think the toyota jack is secured by a strap

No problem thanks. My mate turned up today but he’s only got part of the kit so we’ll go back to that soon.  Much appreciated 👍
