Advice on a rav4

I would be happy with an average 3.1 average , I have only switched the climate control on briefly once, I don't have vented seat so no drain there, it is early days we have had the car less than 2 weeks, the dealer is trying to sort out the APP, but I don't hold out much hope.

I don't hypermile but have to be very careful of the speed cameras in our area as the Suzuki has no speed limiter.

We are not away until September the wife recently had a hip replacement.

Interesting, this must be a new update for the across +/- facelifted Rav, because my MID only shows the first 4 lines, omitting the trip miles/kwh. Part of me would very much like this, however overall I would think the satisfaction of summer readings would be counterbalanced by the mini-depression over winter! 

Thus on a trip by trip basis, I don't have a reference point, nor can I explicitly say if one were to stick to exclusively urban journeys (your trip average speed is ~25mph), what would be the maximum one could coax out of just the traction Battery alone. Toyota themselves say 61miles (WLTP "city cycle"), which broadly checks out to 70% (usable) of 18.2kwh (total rated capacity) x 4.79m/kwh. So on a strictly low speed urban use your screen is almost certainly correct.

Last Tuesday had the towbar fitted journey 100 miles, using a slow A road maximum speed 50 mph (wife has recently had a hip replacement) managed 56 miles before the ICE fired up (15.5 kWh to charge up), it certainty an on the 13.8 kWh Battery Outlander PHEV 28 miles.

I have just had 2 tumours removed last month and have a catheter awaiting prostate surgery so not exactly in a fit state for joining around either!

When I get the opportunity to go on a decent run I will upload some data it will give a  more balanced analysis, we due to tow the caravan soon I can't see many there being many miles/kWh.

Thanks to all - going to go for the dynamic phev i think - i’m almost certain it’s a 2021 (a month before the 2022 came in) so no usb c ports i don’t think - however just wondering a minor thing, did the plug ins 2021’s come with illuminated window switches and illuminated over head light switches? Just seen a few posts saying the plug ins did when the others didn’t …

I starting to see some realistic data (I am sad I have a thing about data, I kept a 38 month detailed log for our Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV).

Using the data from the PodPoint APP I can actually see how much the Suzuki is drawing from the grid including the energy losses our average 3.6645 mile/kWh

Now the temperatures are falling 4 degrees c today on our short local each way journeys we are still seeing 3.5 miles/kWh
