how much does it cost to get a car steam cleaned

some petrol cars may not be able to start up, how can I stop this from happening

oh, so the engine have to be hot

no its just ideal that the engines ticking over as it will stay ticking over

what do you think happens if you hit a big puddle?

advice from me though is to cover an electrical areas with plastic bags as the pressure the steam is under can force it through seals and onto electrical gubbins if your unlucky!

even better take it to a proper valeter who will know what hes doing

Be careful, we just brought a Glanza turbo out of Japan and when they steam cleaned it the water got into the spark-plug tubes and shagged the plug leads, NZ$200 after a day of thinking we'd brought a dud when it started to run on only 3 cylinders!!

If you get it steam cleaned in the engine bay get the person that cleans it to blow out the sparkplug area with compressed air.

Then make sure the leads are dry at the bottom where they cover the plugs when you get the car home.

you can buy a pressure washer from bnq for under £ 30 , they work well too.
