Rear trim below back window discolouring - anyone else ?

Hi, My 2022 Plug-in Hybrid RAV4 seems to have a discoloured boot trim (please see pics where part is highlighted).  Please excuse the quality of the highlight 😂

The car is garaged overnight, if that helps. It originally had the Toyota paint protection added from new.

Just wondered if anyone had anything similar to this, the material looks to be plastic but now it's all blotchy in colour.  Have wiped it over but no change.  Am off to the dealer in a couple of days.

Thanks.

I can not just find it, but there has been a previous post on this topic, with lots of replies if I remember correctly.

Update:

Toyota are going to replace the trim. Their official response was that the customer has not used anything abrasive or any chemicals and as a one off they will change the trim 😂 If this re occurs then it will be assumed that the customer is keeping the car in adverse conditions which is causing this.

Basically Toyota don't want to admit to a faulty product.  Anyway I'm happy that it will be replaced. My other four RAV4s (change very two years) never had a problem so I'm reasonably sure it won't happen again 🤞 as generally I have confidence in Toyota products being reliable.
