Broken Windshields

My family has a total driving experience of 89 years and 8 of those driving Camries of various ages. Our car windshields had been hit by a rock maybe once in all those years until driving Camries. In my Camry alone, my windshield is hit at least once every other month, and we have had 3-4 Camry windshields broken by rocks in those 8 years. My driving habits have not changed and this has affected all members of my immediate family. It makes me think there is a design flaw in the how the air flow travels over the front of the car. Has anyone else had this experience?
