is it possible to download a new version of the sat nav disc as my one is 4 years old and a lot of roads are not on it....thanks in advanvce for any info

There has been a lot of discussion about this - a simple search should give you the relevant posts.

Basically though (apart from being illegal) downloading seems very time consuming and a lot of hassle.

Toyota sell them for about £130.

Of course they can be copied if you know someone who has one but again illegal.

I copied my disc and the car wont recognise it. Is it something to do with being a special toyota format perhaps. Again any info appreciated.

Would be a bit awkward at the moment, my last DVD sat nav disc was about 6.2gb, as the current DVD burners burn discs that are around 4.2gb it wouldn’t be possible unless you can get a duel layer burner.

I have updated the disc to the 2004/05 which cost £224 including VAT from Mr T :crybaby:

If you intend keeping the car, bite the bullet and get the updated one :thumbsup:
