Camry Auto Box

I have a 1993 Camry V6 with the auto gearbox. Over the last month the gear shift has become very rough. If i use the kick down to overtake, the vehicle seems to be dropping right to first gear, causing the engine to bounce off the rev limiter. If i lift off a bit it will change to second. If you get the accelerator in the wrong place it will constantly change between first and second gears. Pick up is very slow at 70 MPH and the box doesn't seem to change down at all if i kick down at this speed. Fluid level is ok, and its clean too.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
