Cold Callers !

in the last 10minutes I've had two different companys or whatever cold calling me.

First was some research thing... hung up on them. Other was some company offering me money off my phone bill..... shouted "go away" .. and hung up.

ARGH !!! Getting on my tats !

Get them for my parents all the time...always seem to call for them when they arent in so i have to deal with the irritating :censor: kers!!!

I usually keep my house phone on silent.. people I know can get me on my mobile.

My phone shows me the caller's number so if it says withheld number then I don't answer it!

It didn't work for a while there as my sister had that permanantly set on her flat phone so I kept answering anyway thinking that it might be her

I'm lucky, I don't seem to get too many of them. It's normally the bank doing a customer survey...

We just don't get these calls any more. A friend at work was getting a couple most nights. Two weeks after registering they had reduced, after a month they have all but stopped.

I get loads of them, all the time.....or I used to.

Still on Dial up internet here, so I just leave the pc online .no more calls. problem solved !

Dont even own a land line phone (line only used for the net), and I dont answer with held numbers on my mobile.

Yes I agree they are a pain in the ares. I usually just tell them to get a proper job and hang up but normally don't answer the phone. People I know phone my mobile.

Braindead - I had heard of this before and have just registered with them, thanks for the link. Hopefully they will stop soon.

I got a letter in the post today for high value house insurance....

I tell them to hold on and I'll be back in a minute. Then just leave the phone on the side and carry on what I was doing....

It can get annoying when you can hear faintly "hello?..... heloooo.....?"

worked perfectly, getting zero calls now...
