Estima Lucida Central Locking

Hi folks,

Just a quick question. I have imported a 1993 Toyota Estima Lucida X Limited Edition and it came with one perfectly ordinary door/ignition key. The car has central locking and I was wondering if it has remote central locking. I can't remember the last car I had that didn't have either an RF or IR remote locking system so I was quite shocked when I was presented with a key that had no buttons on it! Does anybody know if it should have one or how I might find out? Also, while I'm writing. Does anybody know what the so called parking aid at the front does? Why is it clear plastic? Is it supposed to light up at night? Mercifully mine doesn't. More importantly - can it be removed easily?

Mine does not have too... Just a key. Installed alarm instead.

not all are remote , again i had alarm fitted , ps centrasl locking relay is behind dash plastic cover above glove box, stupid place to put it, it saves having to remove the door panel and messing with wiring loom there when alarm can connect straigh to central locking relay unit :)
