Was so shocked to hear this earlier. Never met him but everyone who listened to his shows, read his articles, seen him on tv etc, will all feel they knew him, even if only a little bit. Hes touched so many people lives in so many ways.

Rest in peace, you will be sorely missed :(

I met him when he came to Bradford Uni for his honourary degree.... he did an interview on the Uni radio station and I shook his hand...

He was a very nice bloke.... and I am sure will be sadly missed from the world of Radio.
