When rain or washing car roof, alarm sounds intermitten. Waiting six months for fix. No yet to date. Sorry for previous message was unaware that capital letters meant i was shouting at you. please forgive me. thanks.

Why have you been waiting six months? Is it because they don't know what to do or is it because they can't be bothered?

My alarm has gone off around 5 times in VERY heavy rain in the past 9 months....could be more I suppose if it happened when I wasn't around.

I put it down to the rain hitting the roof so hard. Seem to be able to get round it by pressing the cabin alarm disable button under the steering column then locking with the remote as usual.

If you have'nt had this sorted this is to let you know that there is a toyota fix for this problem it basically involves isolating the interior sensor from the roof above the rear view mirror see your dealer

prius t4 alarm when wet

Dec o5 had alarm mod done. new unit fitted in roof light,

now find when its raining cant lock/unlock car doors intermittent.

up to having mod done this was not a fault I have parked in

this place with this car for over 11Mth no door faults but now

yes. will this take 10Mth to fix???
